The Prescription Assistant Program at Mercy Medical Ministry is dedicated to assisting patients in accessing vital medications that may be financially out of reach. Recognizing the economic challenges faced by those who are uninsured, we work diligently to connect patients with pharmaceutical manufacturer programs offering free or reduced-cost prescription medications. Our team guides patients through the application process, aiding in the submission of necessary documents to verify household income and insurance status.

Once approved for a complimentary year of medication, three-month supplies are shipped to Mercy Medical Ministry and dispensed to patients. We actively manage prescription refills and accommodate any changes, providing ongoing support to help patients re-enroll annually. Beyond just obtaining prescriptions, our program emphasizes the importance of consistent medication adherence.
